Singer of the great people's power
Anyone who walks in the Alley of Writers will witness a wonderful sight. When you are in front of the statues of writers who have made a great contribution to the development of our literature and art, with beautiful garden, beautiful flowers and trees, it is as if they are looking at us with the question of how well you know us.
It is no coincidence that the team of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers includes Abdulla Aripov, a popular writer, hero of Uzbekistan, People's Poet of Uzbekistan, author of the text of the National Anthem of Uzbekistan. It is known that during his lifetime, Abdulla Aripov had more creative conversations and meetings at this educational institution than at other universities. They admitted this at a literary meeting organized by the institute "Irrigation is close to my heart and soul. I have been fond of this profession since my childhood.
My close brother, who appreciated my first poetry when I was young, was also a water-supervisor. The first person to hear and appreciate my poems was that irrigator. I have every right to call them my true teachers. Because his words and advice helped me stay true to my lifelong beliefs. One day I wrote a poem. He was standing in the field, leaning on his hooves to fetch water. I read the poem. The star of Kreml, the pores day and night,” and so on. Leaning on Ketmon, our tired brother looked at me and said, "You have written the poem well, the rhyme and the content are good, but I have a question for you, Abdulla, have you visited Kreml yourself?". I froze. So that irrigator taught me to write about what you saw, what you knew, how you felt. That's why I always call them my first teachers. "This is Abdulla aka's confession. Therefore, the great poet's love for our educational institution is a priority.
A group of teachers, professors and students of TIIAME organized a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the memory of the poet "Singer of the great people's power" in front of the statue of Abdulla Aripov. At the beginning of the event, a wreath was laid at the the statue of the poet, led by the Vice-Rector for Youth Ruzimurot Choriev. The event was attended by Abdulla Aripov's daughters Shoirahon Oripova, Honored Worker of Culture of Uzbekistan, talented poet Bobur Bobomurod, Professor of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi Nurboy Jabborov.
Shohista Uljaeva, Rashid Hakimov, Oybek Arifjanov, professors and teachers of our institute, also gave information on various aspects of the poet's activity. It is no exaggeration to say that everyone listened to Abduhakim aka's song "My first love" based on the poem. The educational dialogue was recorded by Uzbekistan-24 TV and radio channel for the information program. There is no doubt that the image of Abdulla Aripov, his poetry is the melody of the people and the time. Because the power and might of the word, sealed for eternity, will forever be known as a literary bell, giving light and pride to the minds of generations.
