Meeting in the framework of Climate Insurance, Infrastructure and Management Project in the Central Asian Economic Cooperation Area
A meeting held at the Innovation and Research Cluster to provide information on climate insurance, infrastructure and governance projects in the Central Asian region of economic cooperation, as well as to exchange ideas on future work. The meeting organized by the CAREC institute for Innovation and Research Cluster to inform participants about the results and plans of the project "Climate insurance, infrastructure and management in the Central Asian region of economic cooperation". Increasing interest of stakeholders in climate change research and research will lead to more such meetings. The meeting will also serve to raise awareness of climate issues in Central Asia.
Rector of the institute Professor Uktam Pardayevich Umurzakov participated in the meeting and made a presentation on the importance of combating climate change for Uzbekistan and the Central Asian countries, particularly its impact on various sectors of the economy. IN the meeting attended by Dr. Iskandar Abdullayev, deputy director of CAREC institute, Doctor of Agricultural Development institute Leipzig, Otabek Umirbekov (online), Dr. Zafar Gafurov, Research fellow at the International institute for Water management and doctoral students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization.
