Visit to State Scientific-Production Enterprise "Cartography"
On April 3, 2019, students of groups 10 and 11 of the Military Department of TIIAME got acquainted with the production process of the State Scientific-Production Enterprise "CATOGRAPHY". The head of the enterprise's electronic maps and design department welcomed students and introduced safety measures at the enterprise site.
The students began their work with the help of practical application of their theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the production process, with the help of head of the electronic map creation and editing department, N.Umarova. The department was engaged in update of the policy-administrative data map of the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the staff. Modern software for creating electronic maps (Arc GIS, GIS Panorama) has attracted great interest from students and have tested their practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge at the military department.
The introductory process was continued at the paper-making workshop, where the students showed the requirements for storing paper and bring them to the prescribed size for paperwork. The main process for students was the intensive work of the printing press and modern printing equipment, four-color printing machines: RYOBI - 780E, RAPIDA - 105 in Japan and Germany.
Cartographical materials published on modern printing equipment of the State Scientific-Production Enterprise "CARTOGRAPHY" are competitive in electronic maps for the use in secondary schools, colleges and higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and export to neighboring countries, - said J.Khalikov, the head of the design department.
"CARTOGRAPHY" State Scientific-Production Enterprise has been given expertise in countries with products. Thus, the acquaintance with the CARTOGRAPHY State Production Company was completed, during which the students of special training cycles of Military department of TIIAME received practical conclusions from their chosen profession.
