In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the water management system" PQ-4486 dated 09.10.19y and the state program "2020 - the year of development of science, education and the development of digital economy" at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers online International Scientific Conference "construction Mechanics, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering (CONMECHYDRO 2020)" started today, April 23, 2020 at 10.00 Tashkent time. There participate one of the 400 strongest universities in the world, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great, Kazakhstan-Germany Universities.

The main purpose of the conference is to develop scientific research on the efficient use of water resources, hydropower, agriculture and water management to adapt to climate change, to identify solutions to existing problems in the field and to strengthen cooperation with leading foreign universities in training highly qualified, competitive specialists. The conference is attended online by more than 500 experts, scientists and authors from the United States, France, Germany, Canada, Iran, China, South Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. Taking into account today’s pandemic conditions, it is noteworthy that all the founders agreed to hold the conference online.

The leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers has created all the conditions for scientists, professors, researchers and specialists from foreign universities and organizations. The congratulatory speeches of the organizers, the list of accepted articles and the full text, presentations of the articles are covered in detail on the conference website. Questions on articles are sent by email, in English. All participants can exchange ideas with each other. The organizing committee is monitoring the work in one general post office.
