The staff and students of TIIАME participated in C.A.T. Science accelerator 2.0
In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-3697 dated 05/05/2018 “On additional measures to create conditions for the development of active entrepreneurship and innovation”, various startup projects and competitions were announced in our country, including among Central Asian countries.
C.A.T. Science Accelerator for Central Asia - the first accelerator in Uzbekistan and Central Asia for "scientific" projects and commercialization of scientific developments - successfully works in partnership with the Republican Center for Advanced Technologies. As a result of the Accelerator 1.0 project, two start-up projects were funded for a total of $ 200,000.
Currently running C.A.T. Science Accelerator 2.0 were selected in which more than 253 projects from Central Asian countries. Usmanov Aziz Magdalevich, doctoral student Ozodov Ezozbek, graduate students Yusupov Muhammadsodikzhon and Ismailov Sarvar took part in the qualifying round with the Defuse-it project with associate professor of the department of automation and control of the technological process and production.
The Defuse-it team project has been accepted into CAT Science Accelerator 2.0. Now the team has the right to use the laboratory of the Republican Center for Advanced Technologies and will be admitted to the startup development training program for 6 months. At the moment, 18 projects have moved to the second phase of the program, the Defuse-it project has taken the highest place.
The Defuse-it project is associated with the development of a plant for lowering the salt content of irrigation water. This device is based on GSM remote control, AT mega 328 microprocessor, and is equipped with a decision-making system.
