Hydroponics is the most effective method of growing fruits and vegetables
There are plenty of opportunities for the introduction of advanced technologies and scientific achievements in agriculture and water management in our country. Hydroponic greenhouses can be called a breakthrough in agriculture in recent years.
Teachers of the Department of Irrigation and Melioration Yulchiev Davron, Tozhiev Sunnat and Malikov Elyor, together with active students, visited the hydroponic greenhouse complex of the "Durdona Sifat Lux" company in Bektemir district of Tashkent.
"Durdona Sifat Lux" LLC built a greenhouse on a total area of 9 hectares, 2 hectares of land and 7 hectares of hydroponically grown tomato seedlings based on the innovative technologies of the South Korean company Myung Sung Placon. The whole process is fully automated.
The advantage of a hydroponic greenhouse is that there is no need for special fertile land. It is completely controlled by an automated control system. There is an economical watering and feeding system. Compared to conventional greenhouses, it saves up to 60-70% of water and 25-30% of heat. According to the head of the farm, in a traditional greenhouse a tomato seedling yields an average of 3 kilograms, and in hydroponics - 10-12 kilograms.
