Memorandum
Innovative ideas and technologies built on the basis of mutual cooperation and exchange of experience ensures interstate mutually beneficial development.
Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and the Uzbekistan branch of the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization signed the memorandum of cooperation for the first time to establish the scientific-theoretical and practical relationship. One of the main goals of the memorandum, signed on 29 August this year, is to create a cluster for widespread introduction of land reclamation technologies, namely, resource-saving technologies for soil protection. The memorandum also includes an organizing international conference and a various seminars. Conference which is planned to happen on 5 and 7 September is also the outcome of this this memorandum. About 70 specialists from foreign countries is expected participate in the event. We believe that International Conference on "Strategy for the Development of Resource-Saving Technologies for Land-Protection in Agricultural sector in Central Asia" is a direct contribution to the implementation of some of the key elements of the Action Strategy in the five priority areas of Uzbekistan's development for 2017-2021. The memorandum was signed by the rector of our institute U.Umurzakov and the assistant of the representative of the United Nations (FAO) in Uzbekistan Alisher Shukurov.
