About the teacher's portrait
The educator's heart, knowledge, and actions are the bricks or mortar that will lay the foundation for the building of the future. The British scientist David Chomsky was the first to introduce the concept of competence into science, focusing on this issue. Depending on the attitude towards competence, it is possible to draw a portrait of a teacher. In the age of globalization, the appearance, image, intellectual potential of a modern educator, in short, what a portrait should look like, is a central issue in the world education system. Webinars and discussions on this topic will naturally interest you as well. On May 27, 2020 at 10.00 in the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers was held a webinar on "Portrait of a modern pedagogue - in the eyes of specialists ...". The speaker was Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Uzbek State University of World Languages, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Aynisa Musurmonova. They commented on the role of communicative competence in creating a teacher's portrait.
It is well known that educational competence models a student's future life. For example, a citizen may not be able to apply certain competencies to a certain age. This does not necessarily mean that shaping is necessary. For example, a student acquires civic competence in school, but uses it in life after graduation. Accordingly, such competencies are manifested as educational competencies during the study period. There is no single accepted list of core competencies in the world. Because each country or region has its own traditions, mentality and requirements. Competence is a social order that society places on its citizens, the list of which is determined by the social environment in a particular country or region. Such an agreement is not always possible. For example, the Swiss-American Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the National Institute of Educational Statistics' project, Selection and Identification of Basic Competencies, could not have a clear definition of core competencies.
The political, informational and moral competence of the educator is always needed. Communicative competence is the ability to draw useful conclusions from experience, to interconnect and systematize knowledge of different disciplines and areas, to organize (install) their own methods of learning, to solve problems independently. The lecture was followed by a series of questions from faculty and students. The speaker answered them in full.
This virtual communication is important not only because it gives a warm impression to many people, but also because it provides a wide range of knowledge on the subject. This webinar, initiated and organized by the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology of our Institute, also highlighted the need for regular cooperation with teachers and scientists of higher education institutions.
